Hanumanthapalem Children's Home

The Hanumanthapalem Children’s Home (HMP) was the first home that was started by our main national worker Steeven in 2001. His father, Neelam Baram and his wife, Mary, live at this home and Steeven’s brother, Gabriel, is the main caretaker for these children.

The current building which the children live inside was completed before Global Partners started to help care for the children on a monthly basis. One of the first projects that we did for this home was to construct a building that allowed them to have private bathrooms and washrooms to use. The last project to improve this home was the protection wall which was completed in 2007 through donations from people like you. Because many people traveled on a Gpartner Trip and saw the needs with their own eyes the funds were raised and given to meet the needs of these children.

At present, there are 62 orphaned or abandoned children at this home. In this loving environment they are shown that they are valuable and taught about God’s love and plan for them.
