Mud Island Children's Home
The Mud Island Children’s Home (MIG) is located nearly 25 miles away from the city of Bombay (Mumbai). The home is in one of the poorest slum areas of the world. The first home assessment was in November 2005.
Pastor S. Yohan and his wife, Mariya, are the Caretakers of the 32 children in this home. They have four precious children. This Children’s Home started because of their love for the precious slum children on this small island. Pastor Yohan began to take care of five children, who did not have anyone to love or care for them. Like most of the other Children’s Homes, once he began to take care of a few children, many more children were brought to him. Yohan could not turn these precious children away.
