The Nesters have been serving in Uganda since 2005 and have a compelling compassion to show love and eternal hope to the Ugandan people. They open their home to 150 people from the community each week helping to train and equip them to share and show love to the people of Uganda.
Along with directing the training schools and many other projects they do, Terry is on the board of directors of many of the local orphanages. He also facilitates around four to five short-term teams each year.
The most asked question that our Associates hear from the Ugandan people is, “Will you please help provide some funds so that my child can attend school?” The parents realize that if their child does not get an education, they will be in the same difficult situation that their parents are in now. The parents want their children to be able to succeed in life and make a difference in their villages, cities and country. With a gift of $25 a month or $300 a year you can provide school fees, uniforms, meals, and books for a child, making their dream of attending school become a reality.
