This family has 6 children, 2 of them are married. Their family fled the civil war in their home country and fled to Jordan. They stayed in a refugee camp for 5 days before arriving to Amman. The husband sold vegetables and fruits back in Syria. He has some paralysis and injuries in his feet, so he must walk with crutches. Because of this he is not able to work. Most of the jobs Syrians can get a very labor intensive so it makes it impossible for him to find work. The oldest son living at home doesn’t go to school, he must work sometimes to help provide for his family.
