Kyampisi Village Water Well

Located on the grounds of Rhino Christian & Nursery School

Special Thanks to Emmeline Chaddock's Fundraising Campaign

Thank you Emmeline!  You've put a water source at a Christian nursery and primary school serving around 200 children in Kyampisi, within a part of Kayunga that has both a strong Christian heritage and a substantial Muslim population. This fits very naturally with GPPD's heart of partnering with local believers to show God's love in a practical, lasting way to children, families and the surrounding community.

Rhino Christian Nursery & Primary School is located in a rural farming community where many families are simply working hard to meet their everyday needs. Most depend on small-scale agriculture to provide for their families, and poverty continues to affect a large portion of the surrounding area.

Access to clean, reliable water is a major challenge. For a school like Rhino Christian, having a safe water source can make a tremendous difference for the students, their families, and the entire surrounding community.

WELL QUICK FACTS

The broader district is religiously diverse, with significant Anglican, Catholic and Muslim populations, and Kyampisi itself has a documented Muslim community presence. This new well provides a dependable source of clean water at the school while strengthening the school's ability to serve children and families in the surrounding community.
