An estimated 785 million people do not have clean water—that’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Many are women and children who walk long distances to gather contaminated water for their families to drink. Access to a sanitary water source improves childhood health, education, and work opportunities for years to come.
We work strategically in Southern Asia and Uganda to help meet the global need for water. $3000 will install a tube well for a village in S. Asia or you can share the cost. In Uganda, well installation costs $3450. You can be a part of changing lives.
Note: Some of our S. Asia wells require motor pumps, and the need is unknown until digging begins. You can choose to fund or share in the cost of a motor pump ($1,000) by mentioning it in the comments of your gift.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GIVE?
For South Asia wells ... You will receive pictures of the exact well you supported, the people you've impacted, and GPS coordinates of the well's location. If you, your business, or group fully funds a well, you will also receive a personalized video of the dedication ceremony (example above). For each of our water projects, we partner with local community leaders to ensure maintenance and equity of access for all village residents.
For Uganda wells ... you will receive pictures from the well site, details of the community/school/church receiving the well and if possible the GPS coordinates. We do not create personalized videos for Uganda unless we send a team from the US and they're able to visit the well. We work with our partners on the ground to gather all information and send to the donors.
